Gon’ make you sweat, gon’ make you groove

Lucky Julie B got very emotional during the Robert Plant / Alison Krauss session. Not only did Krauss and Plant sing songs from the new album and a few of Krauss’s tunes, but they also performed fantastic versions of “Black Dog,” “Black Country Woman,” and “Battle of Evermore.” Robert Plant looked like he was having the absolute time of his life.

Jonsi pounding on his guitar with a bow and Georg beating out a rhythm on his electric bass with a drumstick. They were so fracking amazing.

The brass quartet from Heima came out during “Sé lest” when Sigur Rós played Bonnaroo. It got quite a crowd reaction.

OK, it’s not really a selfie. Mike took this picture. But it’s Sam Beam and me, so dammit, it’s my shot for the day. He was totally fucking cool. We probably talked for 5 or 10 minutes before he went on. I told him about Whiskerino and how much all the guys in the contest just love him and he thought that was pretty funny.
