Such happiness in the comin’ year, Oh baby
Let’s deck the halls with holly
Sing sweet silent night
Fill a beard angel hair
And pretty, pretty lights
Go to seep and wake up
Just before daylight

Day one of Whiskerino.

Whiskerino

Scrivener November 1st, 2007

I will write an actual post later, hopefully with Halloween pictures and everything. In the meantime, who out there will be joining me in the 2007 iteration of the Whiskerino? Anyone?

I’m about to go shave and take my first picture. It’s likely that my 365 project will become much more self-portrait intensive for the rest of the year. And I think that next year, I’m going to do the version of 365 where I post a self-portrait every day, especially since I’ll have two months of self-portraits to start off the year anyway.

ETA: And here’s my pic for the first day:

I gotta say, dammit, that I spent all that time ironing those damned ruffles on the shirt and they are blown out in the photo enough that you can’t see them anyway. Sigh.

ETA: Holy cow, there are going to be almost twice as many guys in this year’s Whiskerino as there were two years ago. It was a little overwhelming having 150 beards to keep up with, can’t imagine how I’ll stay abreast of the contest now.  That’s a lot of beards.
