So we’re only a quarter of the way through 2008 and it’s becoming difficult to come up with more self-portrait ideas each day. I’m getting a little sick of taking pictures of myself, which means this is where the project really starts to push me, right? There weer definitely stretches in March where I thought I had nothing really to do and that my pictures would be lame, but looking at the images from this month, I think most of them are pretty decent, and there is at least one picture from each week that I really like.

I attended (another) awards ceremony at Eldest’s school this morning. I’m glad to see how proud she is of herself for winning awards and how happy she is to have me at these things, but I think my favorite thing is watching her get so excited for the other students in her class for their awards.

I spent last year, in my Project 365 learning new ways of seeing through photography. Lots of my fellow 365ers have said one way or another that they are looking to learn different ways of seeing, too.
You know what the difference, for me, between Project 365: 2007 and my self-portrait Project 366 is? This year, I am learning how to be seen. Which means, first and foremost, to be willing to see myself.
