I took this shot of Youngest a couple of weeks ago at her birthday party, but just finally processed it today. I’m starting anew with project 365 for 2009. I’m going to go back to the less strict version, where I simply have to post a photo of something each day, not necessarily a self-portrait. Hopefully, there will be some selfies along the way, though I’m still a little burnt out on them, to be honest. I plan to try to keep myself posting daily, but to be very lax about any of the other rules in order to do so. We’ll see how it goes.

Who else is going to be doing the project this year? For the last couple of months, I’ve been pretty well out of the blogging loop, but hopefully I’ll catch up some soon.

I submitted this shot of Cat Power to JPG magazine, which is currently accepting submissions for issue #18, with the theme “On Stage.” It’s my first submission to JPG and I’m not sure exactly how it works, but if I get enough votes, my photo will appear in print in the magazine. I might submit a couple more from Bonnaroo too.

Lucky Julie B got very emotional during the Robert Plant / Alison Krauss session. Not only did Krauss and Plant sing songs from the new album and a few of Krauss’s tunes, but they also performed fantastic versions of “Black Dog,” “Black Country Woman,” and “Battle of Evermore.” Robert Plant looked like he was having the absolute time of his life.
