Please vote for my photo

Scrivener June 26th, 2008


I submitted this shot of Cat Power to JPG magazine, which is currently accepting submissions for issue #18, with the theme “On Stage.” It’s my first submission to JPG and I’m not sure exactly how it works, but if I get enough votes, my photo will appear in print in the magazine. I might submit a couple more from Bonnaroo too.

    I voted for it, but truthfully like the photo of her with the orange background (Losing a star without a sky) better. Maybe it’s my love of the color orange though.

    Did you get (or even need) releases from the performers?

    I don’t think there’s any need for releases from the performers.

    Voting continues for like another month. I’m not gonna win though, but that’s ok. It’s good just to get my stuff out there.
