Excitement for classmate

I attended (another) awards ceremony at Eldest’s school this morning. I’m glad to see how proud she is of herself for winning awards and how happy she is to have me at these things, but I think my favorite thing is watching her get so excited for the other students in her class for their awards.

She’s such a great kid.
I was told once by a coach that my daughter would never be a strong competitor because she got more excited about her teammates successes than her own. Not only were they wrong, but she is now a very sought after personal trainer, dance teacher and gymnastic’s coach because of that very quality! Kids, and adults, who are genuinely happy for others are a blessing to be around.
She is a great kid.
