   I love the look of this shot. The composition with Youngest’s eyes barely showing and Eldest partially present — it is so unexpected and good.

   i love this for so many reasons. as ampersand said, the composition is excellent; the half-body and lopped-off head (echoing the cut-off signage). love. her. skirt. (on left) looks like something i would’ve worn — and loved — as a child (not now; too many years of being forced to wear dresses did me in; i’m a jeans girl now). it’s quirky americana, and it’s fabulous.

   Thanks y’all. I was just trying to use my camera bag as a tripod. This was my test shot before I set the timer and got into the picture too, but it turned out so well. A happy accident.
