I started out trying to get a picture of water rushing over the skylight, then noticed my reflection in the glass, with the kids’ toys in the tub beneath me, so it became my SP for the day.
Love the tub toys! I well remember those days.
There is a definite science fiction movie feel about this shot for me.
You know, when I first saw this on Flickr, I saw the thumbnail, and I didn’t notice the toys. I saw the lines on the glas . . . it reminded me of escaping from an asylum . . . or something.
I like that idea of escaping from an asylum, Billie. When I looked at the shot in Photoshop for the first time, I was thinking, like Gawdess, of it as a scif-fi shot, like through an air hatch or something. But an asylum is particularly fitting.
Do you know, I feel like we’re in the assylum and you’re looking in on us.
Angelfeet, I assure you that if there’s an asylum I am not on the outside look in.
