Your candids of your girls are wonderful. This one is so nice, with the movement of the hair, and the upwards perspective. Really great. The blooms on the tree don't hurt the shot either :).

What Ianqui said.

But did the golf-card driving guy know that these were YOUR kids? I can understand security stopping some random guy taking pictures of children in a shopping center, but if they are YOUR children???? That's just nuts.

Ianqui: I agree with you entirely. I think the guy was simply trying to be self-important by telling me not to take pictures. If he would have stuck around and continued talking to me, I would have worked myself into being more angry and eventually would have asked for his supervisor's information so I could verify that this is an actual policy of the stores. But he just told me to stop and then drove away, so I ended up going through it in my head, and by then I was much more willing to just blow it off and not get too upset. As he pulled away I almost yelled after him to ask his justification for infringing on my freedom of speech, but then I figured there was little point in trying to have that conversation with some security guard just trying to feel big.

Susan & RevDrMom: Thanks! I feel like my photographs have really improved a lot in the last month or so, and it's good to get some external validation. :)
