61: All my lies are only wishes

All my lies are only wishes, originally uploaded by Scrivenings.
I thought of this picture this morning, as I woke up and wished that I could remain in bed, instead of going out into the rain to bring the kids to school.
Uhhhhhh, I don’t see a camera in your hand, dude. (A little self-timing action, or did you have an accomplice?)
I set the camera up on my tripod on the bed with a timer. The hard part was lying back down without knocking the camera over or out of position. I thought the title made it clear that this is staged–I wish I had spent the morning sleeping in like this, but I didn’t get to.
I wondered the same thing as Ianqui. I thought maybe you had a camera remote. Your tattoo really stands out against the white sheets.
Oh, well then in that case, cool. Good timing.
Interesting Tattoo… Typewriter? Do tell!
Here is the post right before I left to get the tattoo. Here is the post from the end of that day.
Hey, thanks for those links! It was amazing to read of your journey to the tattoo and all that went into it. I appreciate that the tattoo is a symbol of being an adult. Even at 43, I have not been an adult for too many years
. But, it sure was great to get there and to stop replaying so many of the scripts that were holding me back.
check out those guns!
cool tat.
