34: Do not enter that good night

Do not enter that good night, originally uploaded by Scrivenings.

The “do not enter” sign is awfully dark in the foreground, but I’m going with this title anyway. I think this is one of the top 2 or 3 sunset photos I’ve ever managed to take, even though I was in the car, with about 30 seconds before the light changed and I had to go. We were way the hell on the other side of town, in an area I don’t know at all, for a birthday party and the kids were seriously frazzled by this time, or I would’ve tried to find a better vantage point to take the picture without the three-lane divided street and all the oncoming traffic. But it’s still a pretty decent shot, I think.

Nice sunset! And you know, a li’l well-placed photoshop will bring that “Do Not Enter” sign right back for you.

I don’t know how to brighten just one area of the photo. I am Photoshop illiterate.

I like this one–especially the cars.
